Hi, the four recommended credit agencies are :
    • TransUnion (previously Callcredit)
    • Equifax
    • Experian
    • Crediva   but I also use ClearScore (run by Equifax though), Totally Money and Credit Karma UK. You can also join Experian through MSE. It doesn't help to check more than one, if you have the time of course! They should all have the same information about you and if they don't, you can query them. Good luck and congratulations!

Give the credit reports a month or so.
If you want to see something positive though..go onto the Insolvency Service and find your name..click on your name and status will show discharged.
This stays there for 3 months so maybe print a couple off for reference
  • Congratulations! Definitely second the thing about print off your discharge from the website. I have lost mine now so at some point I might need to pay to get a proper one from the IS.

You are discharged after 1 year(unless you don't cooperate, when they can extend this). Yes you can get credit again, but your credit worthiness will be pretty low for 5 more years. Poor credit, credit cards, payday or similar loans, mobile phone contracts, etc you can get. Overdrafts, loans and credit cards with high street banks generally aren't an option until 5 years post discharge
