Telescopic/long handled cleaner.

Does anyone, here, have a recommendation for a tool that can be used to wipe down the PVCU internal struts of a conservatory - that reaches the apex which is 4/5 metres or so high.

The upright struts are fine, they're easily reached with a stepladder but the centre is difficult; a) it's too high and stepladders and wielding long poles make me giddy and b) getting up and down to rinse the head out is tedious.

I'm quite capable of getting stuck into anything, don't have the need for others to do things for me but, this task has to be much simpler than what it is now.

I'm thinking along the lines of an extendable pole, with a softish head that contains a detergent/chemical that is wiped across the surface without the need for rinsing said chemical off.

Any ideas ??
