Who is responsible?

Hello,
2 years ago, I booked a thomas cook in a tui store and payed via credit card. I had both a tui booking reference and a thomas cook reference. There was multiple breaches in contract where 2 members of the family got injured because of how dangerous the hotel was.
I know that I am entitled to compensation but I thought it would be through thomas cook.
Would I be able to claim from either TUI or the credit card company? Or would Thomas Cook have been the only option?
Thanks in advance.

And when did you submit your claim for compensation?

You need to give the full story of what actions you have taken to address the issue in the two years since it happened.
Drip feeding information rarely gets sensible advice.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Sorry I didn't make it clear thats when I booked it. The actual issue was in August 2019. I submitted a claim with thomas cook in september but they went bust while they was investigating. Now i'm not sure if I can claim to either the credit card company or TUI? As it was booked in TUI but the holiday was a thomas cook holiday>

Yes I have a full story and photos. My issue is I'm not sure if TUI OR Credit card company are responsible along with Thomas cook? Would there be any point in claiming to either of these or would it be solely the fault of thomas cook?

Personally I don't see a S75 claim here. Thomas Cook may have gone bust but is the hotel still trading? If so they must have public liability insurance to claim on if you have a valid claim.
