MindMover survey company
We would like to inform you that on May 18th 2020 the MindMover Connect team updated the terms and conditions of membership, an email was shared with all members to inform them. From time to time, MindMover Connect reserves the right to update terms of membership to ensure the best possible community experience for our members. On this occasion, we implemented the policy of making points expire which are not used within 12 months of acquiring them.
This has been the case on this occasion. For more information, please visit our terms and conditions page on the website through the below link."

As this was such an important change to the rules, I think a separate email informing members about the possible loss of their points should have been sent directly to them. To bury this information in a new terms and conditions email was, I feel, sneaky and underhand. I don't even remember seeing the email and to be honest, probably would have only skimmed it anyway, as most people would have done. Also, for points expiring at the end of May I think an email sent on 18th May (only 13 days before) was not enough notice. I complained to them but didn't receive a reply and I sent another email asking for them to please reply and I still haven't heard anything. Has this happened to anyone else? If you are a member of MindMover, I suggest you check when your points will expire if you don't want to lose them. I'm just so annoyed that they can do this and get away with it.

Not fair. I wouldn't do work for anything that didn't pay me real money .0

If you'd disagreed with the change to the T&Cs, what could you have done with the points? Could you have cashed them in for a lesser value, or is £50 the starting point?
It is sneaky ... changes to T&Cs shouldn't apply retrospectively. But where are MindMover based? Which country's laws apply?0 -

I did reply to this earlier, but I can't see my post?

The 2500 points could have been withdrawn as a £25 Paypal payment. I redeemed £50 before, but that was ages ago and I don't know whether that was the minimum then, but the minimum is £20 now. It looks like they are based in Middlesex, UK.
