I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any help/info at all.
we have booked a family trip to Blackpool on Monday 6th July for two nights. we live in Scotland and our lock down is in different phases than England. The travel lodge said they are opening on the 4th of July and we are booked for the 6th they said we can have a voucher but not a cash refund. I feel this is unfair as it’s not our choice not to go we are not allowed to travel As we are in Scotland. Any information or any contact email for travel lodge would be appreciated thank you in advance

It's a month away so rules in Scotland can change.

If the hotel is open then they are correct.

They are still planning to offer the service which is what you are paying for, in essence it’s not really any different to those whose flights have been cancelled but their hotels are available abroad. The room has to only be available to you, the travel arrangements aren’t the concern of the accommodation provider.

You purchased the Saver Rate, Travelodge are offering you a voucher which, as they will be open for business, IMO is actually a decent enough offer. It's not them who can't 'deliver' on the purchase I'm afraid.

The voucher at least lets you rebook, & also rebook again (not sure how many times you'd be allowed to change). Valid 'til Dec 2021.

Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.
