Accepted for 2 new credit cards

I've just been accepted for a Marbles credit card and a 118118 Money credit card.  B)

My credit rating must be starting to improve slightly since alot of my old defaults dropped off. I've already got 2 x Capital One cards.

not sure I'd be over the moon that I was accepted for another two bad credit credit cards when I already had two but each to their own.

Use them wisely, spend a little, pay off in full every month, and a year down the line you might qualify for something like a barclaycard forward, rinse and repeat and you might get to a regular APR card another 12 months down the line... Keep up the good financial management and you'll be heading the right way.

Tbh amassing a large number of credit cards is likely to do more harm than good.

A small number of long standing, well run accounts paints a more appealing picture to lenders.

118 118 charge a monthly fee of £8.00 on a credit limit of £250.00. However the good news is they do not charge interest. Not something I would have in my wallet.

    I’d rather pay interest.
Then again I wouldn’t dream of giving 118 my business.

There is no monthly charge on the 118118 card, it's 34.0% APR.

That's an old product that was withdrawn some time ago. The current offering works the same way as a regular credit card. If paid off in full every month, there are no charges to pay.

the interest rate doesn't really matter as long as you pay the balance on each statement its actually quite a good card for some people as you don't get charged for cash transactions you don't pay a foreign transaction fee and theres afew more things they don't charge that other CC do.

If theres something i buy but i'm not sure whether it would incur a charge using my usual CC i use this card instead.
