Will writing advice

Options
Hello. we have recently welcomed a new born baby, because of this we are trying to organise assets and her care should we both die.
Can anyone please recommend a will writing service (ideally free if theres such a thing) that would sort where the property & money goes to if we die and most importantly a guardianship for the baby. thank you in advanced.

This is far too important to do on the cheap.
Ask some local solicitors for an approximate price for two mirror wills - the solicitor should talk you through all the options.

You need to decide on alternative guardians for this baby and you can probably cover subsequent children.
You have not stated if you are married or cohabiting , either of which make a difference.
You need relatively simple wills but need to include all assets including life insurances and pensions.
Ring around solicitors for quotes do not think of doing this on the cheap as very important

My parents paid £260 for their mirror will with Irwin Mitchell solicitors via barclays wealth back in 2015.

Their wills were simple but the solicitors were quite comprehensive with their questions. The service depends on the advisor you get allocated I guess.

You need to do it through a  solicitor. It is too important that you get it right to risk using a cheap service.

Being married property and money held jointly would go to surving spouse. Guardianship would come into play if you die at same time in accident or if you both die before the children reach the age of majority. Should you seperate or divorce you would need to update will.
Whatever you decide you are always best doing so through solicitor.
