My wife brought a car from a dealer last year. It was a used demonstrator of about 6 months and we took out a service contract with the dealer to cover the fist three services. The dealer closed recently, claiming that the downturn in trade due to the coronavirus meant that it was no longer viable.
On checking the service contract, the dealer used a company called Planmyservice LLP as an agent to collect the payments on their behalf. I have been unable to find a telephone number or contact details for this company to try to understand what the situation is regarding the payments already made.
Has anyone else come across this situation?

Good luck!

In future, it's not a good idea to trust your savings (which is effectively what this was) to anyone other than a bank or building society. Nor to send money every month to an unknown destination!

Parents had a similar issue with Free MOT's for life. Took the car in and even though its the same location and the same
staff the name over the door changed so they no longer honoured the Free MOT's.
