Re roof

GT60

Hi Ive had 3 quotes for a re roof and gutters etc 
Ranging in the 4K -  4600K.
New battens and felt plus old slates back 
Not sure what I should be asking or what to do next.
It's a mid terrace in Manchester
I can post the quotes if that helps.
The most expensive quote funny enough is the person I feel most comfortable with the cheapest seems very nice and polite but I have a doubt about him even though he has 100% good reviews on check a trade if that means anything.

You should be asking about building regulation compliance and the work being signed off - If the contractor claims it isn't necessary, go find someone else.

Failure to get the work signed off could result in enforcement action from your local council (unlikely in the current climate) or cause problems if/when you sell the property.
