Jet2 - Amendments to flights

I have flights booked with Jet2 that are due to leave Manchester Airport to Menorca, departing on the 5th July. I thought that after the news on Quarantining for 14 days on returning from Holiday that I would amend my flights to Mid August. As we are travelling as a party of 3 (2 adults & 1 baby, under age 1) I had to call them to make the amendments. I waited over 1 hour for the phone to be answered (which I can accept), but after speaking with the operative, I was told that the amendment fee was £35, which I thought was reasonable. so I provide her with the new flight details and was told that the additional payment was £167! I explained that I had been through the website and the actual cost was £448.80 for the new flights and that the original flights booked cost £474.30 ( a saving of £25.50) These prices include the discount that can be applied by registering with Jet2 and then applying Promo code JET2ANYWHERE (15% Discount). I was them told that because I had called them to amended the booking, that the Discount code could not be applied and that the prices on the website were for new bookings and not amendments. I agree with Martin over the forbearance to support these businesses at these unprecedented times , but when you feel that you are being taken advantage of, then you have to think again. I am still hoping to travel on our original dates (if Air bridges are formed, before our date of travel), but if the flights are cancelled, I will be requesting a full refund and either booking new flights with Jet2 or look for cheaper/alternative flights. how is this (TCF) treating customers fairly.
