Hello , advise or have help with refunds on holidays booked with Lastminute.com? ......I booked a holiday in April and waiting for my refund, Last minute.com advised they are waiting for refunds from the airline and hotel. After I contacted the hotel they confirmed they didn’t charge LM.com and no payment taken or have they been contacted by LM.com . This seems completely wrong and I’m getting nowhere with them? Thanks

In my experience lastminute.com has been spectacularly poor. Here they are calling for quicker refunds from airlines however, so they do seem to be shifting some of the blame.

I suspect this is because LM have used an intermediary to make the hotel reservation. Topping this off is that LM are often reported as being poor at the best of times for post-sales service. Adding to this the CV19 issue, thousands of travel arrangements cancelled and that the main service centre is in Spain where they are only now returned to offices in limited numbers to work - I suspect they are very behind.0 -

New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

I cancelled my hotel as it had free cancellation over a month before I was due to stay.
They have change the status many times on my booking, now stating they are attempting to get a refund from the hotel.
The hotel never got paid as the reservation was cancelled for free.
Couple of questions.
How can Lastminute lie constantly to avoid obligations.
How have they still got a ATOL license??
It's only a small amount, so I'm not bothered, I am however frustrated and annoyed about a company trading and constantly lying to their customers..
