Hi. We had our move cancelled 10mins b4 removals arrived due to some paperwork not being amended in time! This cost us 50% more to rearrange removals, huge stress- everything was packed and we then had a full weekend to wait-literally hunting for toothbrush and kettle which was all packed in car! We were told by the buyers removal guys that this is common when exchanging and completing on same day and that some of his clients have claimed back solicitors fees when having the move delayed in this way at the last minute and thus incurring additional costs.Anyone know how to go about this ?0
