VWFS payment holiday credit score
T444123
I applied for a payment holiday with volkswagen which was agreed a week or so before my payment was due. I cancelled my direct debt as i was told to by their team. No payment was ever requested
i have just had a late payment mark registered with credit expert/experian against my VW account
is this normal and will be rectified easily enough? Im pretty sure it was stated no impact to credit file
i have not received any letter stating payment was unsuccessful or my account is in arrears. Surely they wojld have sent me one out normally

You might want to go back to them and point them to the FCA guidance on the matter
https://www.fca.org.uk/publications/finalised-guidance/motor-finance-agreements-and-coronavirus-temporary-guidance-firmsFirms should also ensure no default or arrears charges are levied in relation to payments missed in these circumstances.Should it not be rectified a complaint and compensation for the "tort" should be in order. You escalate it to the Financial Ombudsman if you get no satisfaction from them- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's and their rules apply.
