Hi,
We have a flight and hotel booked with sunshine.co.uk in August. We don't want to go on the holiday due to covid thus trying to sort out the best way forward. We have only paid a 500 deposit so far which is the cost of the easyjet flights.

Does anyone know if Sunshine would allow the cancellation of hotel only? We can then amend the flights to a later date and avoid the commitments of paying for a hotel while things are up in the air.

I have emailed sunshine of course but don't expect a response anytime soon.

Given that Sunshine are just an agent that sell Multi Contract packages, they may well let you cancel just the hotel element.  It would depend though on what the conditions of the hotel booking are. Obviously getting in touch with them to ask the question and get them to do it may be difficult.  If you log in to the booking on their site are there any options?
  • hI, you seem to have a package holiday booked?   If you cancel now then you will lose whatever deposit or terms and conditions state as nobody knows what the state of play will be in August.    Nearer the date, Sunshine should give you the options available to you but have to say IF by chance all steam ahead, flights and hotel operational on the date you due to travel then you won't have any options other than to go or lose your money.  If  all cancelled then you should be able to get a refund.
