I have a Sumsung VP-D20. How can I transfer from it to the PC to record DVDs.

I have a DVD writer on my PC and use Windows XP. The instruction booklet says something about an IEEE1394 add on card or built in card but that looks to tricky!! Is there another way?

Thanks

  • Basically, you need to connect your camcorder to pc using a firewire cable (ieee1394), Then open Windows Moviemaker to transfer the footage to your pc where you can do any editing, titling, ect. on the way, best to follow the Moviemaker wizard.
