Buying a car - Rights?

Hi,
I recently paid a £600 deposit and signed to agree to buy a car on finance. The finance also accepted me.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to purchase the car any longer.
What are my rights? Do I get the £600 back and does the finance get cancelled? 
I don't have the car, I only bought it yesterday and its getting "ready" and valeted.

Your "rights" are whatever is contained in the agreements you signed concerning cancellation of the order.

You can cancel the finance as part of a 14day cooling off period, but that doesn't mean you cancel the car order. The dealership will expect you to pay them if they aren't getting payment from the finance company.

Whether the dealer agrees to cancelling the car order will depend on your contract with them.

In reality the dealer will most likely simply retain your deposit in light of your breach of contract.
