Hi. We were due to travel to Portugal in the 31st May. Flights cancelled a week before by easyjet. Waiting on a refund. Email today 4th June from villa plus saying I need to claim off my insurance as I didn't make it to the villa?? We was all in lockdown. They said as restrictions have now been lifted in Portugal we would have to cancel the villa and transfers and claim off the insurance. Is this correct?

    Looks like you need to go to the insurer if villa was available.
    Did you get all the paperwork you needed from Villa Plus?

    They want me to email them to cancel the villa. Is this right. I thought they had to cancel as everyone was locked down on 31st may

    I think Portugal has started to reopen but not sure what's open.

    Did they tell you to cancel via email  or phone?

    I would find out if you are insured first before sending a cancellation request.
