bounce back loan

Hi
I’m self employed
I have recently applied for a feeder account through Royal Bank of Scotland as I have a personal account with them.

I have been waiting over a week to hear back from them to see if my
feeder /business account has been accepted as it still
says they are checking through my application.

I have spoke
to numerous people from the bank saying there is a back log but I am a priority as I have a personal account.

I am wondering what these checks are ? .I was also told by the bank I can Put down my next financial years earning as it was pretty low figure and also could take into account any sort of benefit I might get 2 like universal credit as that made up a large proportion of my income so I have put down between £20-40k on the application.

Is there anyone else in a similar position as me ? And have they been accepted or rejected for a bounce back loan ?

Kind regards
Matt

Unless you live in Scotland don’t hold out at being accepted for the account as a sole trader I waited over a week same thing still checking details no further action needed spoke to numerous advisers all told me a was priory as already a personal customer for them to finally tell me NO as I live in England so made me go through it all again with NatWest ... which within 10 days I had a business account Opened and my bbl funds I have a complaint going with RBS over this ... but good luck also regarding the checks I only had a soft search done but don’t know if I’d risk using predicted figures if u have a 2019 turnover I thought that was just for very new businesses but then again I didn’t state how long u have been self employed
  • Thanks for getting back to me holly.

That’s strange for them to turn round to you and say that you have to live in Scotland.

I am pretty new business only been self employed as a sole trader  a year but have my 2019 -2020 self assessment  hence the reason they told me I could put any other income down weather it be from a benefit, and what I’m hoping to make for the next financial year.
