People on the dole

I'm on the dole.
I'm sorry, really, really sorry.
There are no jobs.
I have no qualifications.
I'm one of the people who "hates" scroungers on dole money.
The system is there for people who fall out of work, to keep them going till they can find another job, whereas there are a lot of people who just abuse the system.
I believe there is always *something* that can be done, Ie if you really can't find a job, work in a charity shop, A) it looks better when you do get a paid job, you'll feel that you've earnt the money, C) the charity shop will appreciate the help.
As long as the people on dole money are genuinely looking for work (IE making a real hard effort/keep trying no matter how repetitive/annoying it is) I don't have a problem, however mostly the teenagers that seem to sit around smoking/drinking all day with no intention of working annoy me...
Oh and what sort of jobs are in your area, there is always *some* work, even if its part time/seasonal, the longer your out of work the more depressed you'll feel, not being able to afford a car or generally nice things etc..What Happened To Summer!?

If you really want to get a job, and if you really want to get that dream job, then you're gonna have to work your @rse off to get it. You get out what you put in and it's not a cliche!
If you can't be bothered or don't want to then fine. But like you say, this is the only pub you can afford to go to and thats how it should be (not that you were arguing any different)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

I've already answered this- I can get to my nearest big town by 10-30 and I have to leave by 4. Strangely there aren't any jobs there that can accommodate this.
what about mcdonalds? that's what i did when i wanted to go to disney with the rest of my family but we couldn't afford it on my husband's wages - i got a lunch time job in mcdonalds. they always need people between ten thirty and two thirty. they change over from breakfast to normal food at ten thirty so they need people to wash up and sort out the kitchen, then work on the till for the lunch rush. it's not glamorous but it pays minimum wage, or higher depending on if it's a franchise. they're pretty flexible about hours. i only worked when my boy was in school.
a 4 hour shift would earn you over a hundred a week, you don't need a lunch break on those hours. that would leave enough for driving lessons.'bad mothers club' member 13

I am a vegetarian and I would come home reeking of bacon and sausages- it was really demoralising, (not to mention exhausting)
but it's like that for all the people who work in loud, smelly, repetitive jobs
i think you should move. go to the nearest haven holiday park and ask for work there - perhaps you could go back to your parents during the winter if they are closed, or better still move to england and get a job at alton towers because their hotels and water park are open all year round.'bad mothers club' member 13
