Orlando Attraction Tickets ridiculous refund policy

So we were supposed to be going to florida at the end of Aug 2020, however due to covid19 we do not wish to travel any longer. When I have got in touch with the above company to enquire about cancelling our tickets, because we have been organised and paid the majority of our balance we have been told that we will lose 25% of the total booking, however if we had only paid the £10pp deposit and not actually paid any of the balance then we would have only have lost the £10pp, now I am really struggling to understand how they are able to get away with this when they have literally done nothing extra to earn that 25% other than hold my money in their bank account? Has anyone had any instances with this company where they have managed to get all of their money back? I really dont want to lose over £1200 if I can help it!

What do their terms and conditions say about cancelling bookings? read them and come back with more information and someone might be able to assist you.

If travel is permitted by the end of August the standard terms and conditions of the company will apply.  Your decision not to travel is not their problem (simply the brutal truth).  If the parks are still closed, which seems improbable given the way Trump is pushing everything to get going again, the refund would be in accordance with US law not UK.

Looks like Orlando attraction tickets is a UK company

t and cs are different depending on type of ticket purchased . One of the terms does indeed say the cancellation fee could be just the deposit if that’s all that has been paid or 25% if the balance has been paid
  • So i have tried to fight these t&c's but to no avail. I suppose that's what you get for being organised, I know for sure that in future I will keep all money in my account until the very last moment before handing anything over.
