Hi I’m self employed and also employed by another company not related to my business unfortunately I’m not eligible for the self employment scheme. My question is can I furlough my self on my business side ???

You can't furlough yourself, you're employer can only do that. SEISS grant is for those that are self employed.

Why are you not eligible for the self-employment scheme? Less than half of income?1

Yes Income from my business it’s about 40% of my total monthly Income so I’m not eligible for it at all ☹️ I just thought I will be able to furlough myself just to get a some support even if it’s 60% 😊anything it’s better then nothing0

You cannot furlough yourself from self employment - that is what SEISS is for but you accept you don't qualify.
You cannot furlough yourself from employment, only the employer can do that and not if you are working for them. It sounds like you are still working for the business (so getting paid in full), which is better than being furloughed from the business.
Hope I didn't miss something there.1 -
If you are set up as a limited company and pay yourself a salary through PAYE you can furlough yourself provided you do no work for your business while furloughed other than activities necessary to meet your statutory responsibilities as a director.Aga_Bak said:Yes Income from my business it’s about 40% of my total monthly Income so I’m not eligible for it at all ☹️ I just thought I will be able to furlough myself just to get a some support even if it’s 60% 😊anything it’s better then nothingInformation I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
