Did you empty and clean your header tank before draining, because if not there is a fair chance you have washed muck / sediment through the system.1

Sounds to me you have too much water in there, adjust the ballvalve you only need it about an inch above the outlet, you will prob need to bend the arm downI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

as I said had a new ballcock, but it had a small hole in it which mean it didn't float (did take 3 weeks from install it sunk so was a really small hole
just need to change an TRV on each heat circuit to a standard valve to act as heat sink,
