Furlough pay and holidays

I’ve received a letter to shield and am aware I am entitled to 100% of my pay. 80% payed to the employer by the government and 20% payed by the employer. Other work colleagues are only being paid 80% and the accrued holidays up till now are also being paid to make their wage up to 100%. My point is that my holidays are being taken off but I have been told I cannot get paid more than 100%

So you want 100% pay plus holiday pay?
You are entitled to the same as everybody else you are getting nothing extra for shielding. So if they are making other uses holidays why should the not make you?

You are lucky to be furloughed because a shielding letter should only entitle you to SSP. I'm not sure why you think you should be entitled to 100% pay and your holiday pay on top :open_mouth:

I am on Furlough and taken some holiday. But the company are refusing to make up the holiday pay difference from 80% to 100% even though this is clearly stated in the Gov Uk web site
    What can I do?

It's not totally clear, because the question is actually rather difficult, but most people assume you should get 100% of pre-furlough pay, and most employers are paying that.
