advice re holiday to Disneyland paris

Me, my husband (key worker) and daughter age 3 are booked to go to Disneyland Paris on 6th September 2020 for 3 nights. We have paid a £700 deposit through a travel agent and the balance is now due. I am type 1 diabetic so higher risk category so really don’t want to be travelling anymore. We also don’t want to be going to Disneyland if there is restrictions / face masks etc as it’s not going to be the magical experience we had booked for.
Looking for some advice on what our best option would be ? Our travel agent has advised we will lose deposit if we cancel . Flights can’t be amended at moment without charge and only available to book up until April 2021.
Thanks in advance

Sadly they are correct in saying if you cancel you will lose the deposit, that’s a standard clause in package holiday contracts. Would April 2021 not be an option for you to rebook?
