Covid19 - dealer charging extra

Booked my car into a main dealer to have the air con looked at under warranty a few weeks ago. It goes in tomorrow first thing. 5.50 this evening they give me a courtesy call ... but announce a charge of £30 to bomb / clean the ventilation system before they work on it.
I’m annoyed they’ve dropped this in right at the last minute. Doesn’t strike me as reasonable??

Just say no. It worked the last time a dealer suggested a charge to me for a warranty repair0

If they want to sterilise the HVAC before working on it, it may well be a wise precaution to help staff H&S.
But it ain't up to you to pay for it.0 -
Name and shame. Its a warranty job, let the manufacturer pay.0

What product are they using that is suitable?0
