If I work just 1 day during furlough can my employer keep me at that after

I am currently furloughed. My employer has said they may be able to bring me back for 1 day at some stage after July or I may be made redundant (it depends what happens with workload). My question is if I can go back 1 day when furloughing finishes is my employer within their right to make me continue on 1day, I was working 3 days or if that was the case could I refuse and take redundancy.

You can work 1 day and then go back to furlough.0

I think that you would need your contract changing after furlough as it would be a change of your employment.0

You will have to change contract for that as the furlough agreement will only be whilst furlough is on. But if they can't afford to pay you for the 3 days still then it is up to you to either leave or accept the changes.0
