All of the comps I've entered on 'Let's Knit' have done the same for me.....I feel the same as you
 I also had to mute the sound, the video was so annoying!

You need to accept the cookies message first then your entry will go through with a confirmation message.

I accepted the cookie message and still didnt get any confirmation!!

It did the same for me because I forgot to tick the "terms & rules" box. I re-entered my details, ticked the box and got a confirmation "Thank You" afterwards. I was using Microsoft Edge to enter.
