Due to fly to Alghero on 1st July with Ryanair and return on the 18th. They have cancelled the return only. Where does this leave me with getting a refund for the now useless outbound flight please? Good old Ryanair!!

You can get a refund for the whole trip, as long as both flights were booked together on the same itinerary. Ryanair will do this, although their refunds are in fact vouchers for now with the promise of cash in the future.1
