Another case of not reading the T’s and C’s before applying?

Apart from me being an idiot who would sign up to that?
Me, if I wanted to make a one-off large purchase and spread the repayments over 24 months.
I have a couple of other cards that I use and pay in full, both pay me rewards.
    This ^
Making a one off large up-front purchase.
Plus it stops you from spending on it past 60 days and potentially racking up debt you won’t be able to pay off come the end of the promo period.

the MBNA deal is 0% on purchases made in the first 60 days - that is not normal.

Yes it is, it's very normal. You get XX days where purchases are interest free for YY months.
No it’s not normal at all my last one which was with Barclaycard I could have made a purchase anytime within the 36 month offer and it would have been 0% for however long I had left on the original 36 month deal.

    There current offer is this:

    • 0% interest on purchases for up to 18 months from the date you open your account

I think this is peculiar to MBNA for it to be within the first 60 Days.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Let’s rephrase that - it’s normal for MBNA and their offerings.
