Bounce Back Loan with Santander

I was newly self employed last year so didn’t qualify for the SEISS. I don’t have a business account yet either. My personal account is with Santander . They said you needed a business account to apply and new applications are currently closed as with many banks. As I don’t have a business account they said I would need to provide my tax return for 18/19 . I explained that if I had this then I would not need to apply for the Bounce Back loan as I would qualify for SEISS. I then asked if they would accept my tax return for 19/20 and they agreed. I had been keeping my books up to date and had already started filling in my self assessment as I had time to do so in lockdown. I got it uploaded and within 3 Days the money was in my account . I found Santander helpful to deal with and very efficient at answering the phone and the online application was straightforward. I am writing to my local politicians to ask if self employed who have filed their tax for 19/20 could be included in the next round of SEISS when it opens in August.I imagine that lots of small businesses like me will be in the tax system by then .

Did you have to have a credit search for the Feeder account?

I applied and have the same scenario as you but my credit score is poor at moment. So expecting HSBC to decline the Feeder. But Santander have 2 personal accounts of mine  but both run in ODs as I've struggled getting up and running with my business.
