What happens to my credit card owed balance if I switch bank accounts?

Hello everyone.
Apologies for being a newcomer and not knowing much about proceedings but I have quite a simple question which might have a very simple answer but I just wanted to confirm before I do something. I was looking to switch banks (a full switch not a partial switch), and my question is if I have some balance that I still owe on my credit card account with my current bank what happens when I switch banks? Will that balanced be transferred to my new bank and I continue paying it there or do I have to pay it off before the full switch, does the bank actually deducts that amount from my accounts before the full switch, technically the banks do belong to the same group... that's why this question popped up in my head?
Thank you so much for reading.

When you switch banks, it is just the current account (and its related DD's/SO's) that is switched.  Your credit card will not switch.

Your credit card stays with your current provider and you continue to pay it off from your new bank account. If a Direct debit is set up then that will switch to the new account.

As others have already said, your credit card is a separate account that will not switch.

You need to check, if you haven't already done so, that your credit card isn't restricted to customers of the bank who also have a current account (e.g., a Nationwide Member Credit Card). If it is, you should expect that the credit card will be closed by the transferring bank. In this case, you will still owe whatever your present balance is to the bank, but will find yourself without a credit card going forward (unless you have a second, or are getting one from another provider such as your new current account provider).
