From WTC's + UC to receiving 1st SEISS grant. Is a 2nd SEISS grant still available?

Hi,
I switched across to UC from WTC's may 1st.
Subsequently SEISS grant was credited may 15.
I included cost of 3mth rent paid in arrears as expenditure in the box that included not for entertainment and smth when completing UC end of mth form.
It was rejected by coach as it should include only biz costs - my bad, and i'm still awaiting for form to reappear and submit as coach has advised. While waiting,
A few questions if I may:
1. Can you declare the 1st grant as 3 mths earnings?
2. Will the grant affect 1st UC amount?
3. Then on the
SEISS grant, can you apply for a 2nd SEISS while being on UC?

Thanks all,

1/ The grant will affect the amount of UC you're entitled to in the month it's received. You need to report the grant and expenses you have, if any.
2/ It will reduce the amount of UC you're entitled to by 63% if you don't have a work allowance. It may also affect following months UC, depending on how much grant you received.
3/ Yes you can apply for the next SEISS if your business is still affected and it will affect your UC in the month it's received.

With regard to point 3 above, we don't really know when the business has to be affected to qualify for the second grant. According to the legislation as it currently stands, it appears that being affected in the past is all that is necessary, but some guidance seems to suggest otherwise. More information is promised for 12 June.

    Thanks for clarifying.
On no' 1: The expenses I had were for repaying 3 mths rent - 1200gbp. I included them first time but was told these are not work expenses, so as it stands only work expense was 50gbp.
On 2, so with zero work plus SEISS grant 1st mth payment will be 63% less irrespective of rent expense?
And 3, thanks that makes sense

When you say rent, is that for your business premises?

    No. Just for accommodation.

    No. Just for accommodation.
The income and expenses you have to report are for your self employed business. Your household rent is not a business expense.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

The housing element of UC is for renting your home. This will be the reason why they refused it as an expense.
