My UK cottage co. (Original Cottages), states that if I have paid in full and Covid prevents me going, that I will only be entitled to move the booking to another date and not a full refund. Is this correct ? Also would my insurer cover the full cost if the supplier refuses a full refund ?
Thanks

It will depend if COVID-19 prevents you from going,  or prevents them from opening (legally there is a difference)
For what's covered with your insurer will depend of your policy.

Southwold Suffolk 1st week in August.
Also Life Goes On - what’s the legal difference ? It will probably be Covid preventing us fro going. Thanks both

You might not travel because of you are wary of COVID-19  but the place is open,  then it's classed as you cancelling.
It they legally can't open, then it's classed as then cancelling, so should be due  a refund.
