We're definitely dealing with moving targets, e.g. Ziggy was originally at Currys PC World but now it is Squillion. So I think once they update the clues, the old squid locations are removed.

I also suspect that once you have captured a squid, you won't be able to find that squid again.

I have noticed that when you hover over 'Click to Catch', the mouse changes to the finger if you're going to catch them and stays as a highlight cursor if you're not.
