Your contract may offer you more, but statutory will be:
    • 12 weeks' notice
    • Age- and length-of-service redundancy pay, capped at 20 years, £538 per week, maximum £16,140
The cap may well come into play before anything else, but if not it would be based on the reduced rate of pay for the reduced number of days.
    The following may be helpdul:

19 years of the Redundancy payment will be capped at £538 x 1.5. The remaining year will be at £538. So you could potentially get very near the maximum amount allowed.

It depends on whether your wage is higher than £538 a week.

The employer may offer enhanced pay over-and-above statutory.

They are offering  2x for every year so will get 40 weeks redundancy but still not sure wether i will get  15 years at  5 days and 5 years at 4 days or if all will be paid  on 4 days .  will find out next week but was wondering if anyone knew for certain.

Anything over statutory is down to either employee handbook of terms and conditions or if silent a negotiation between employer and employees.

2x for every year is more than statutory. I would presume therefore that the stat max of 528 per week would also not apply. Therefore plausible to suggest you will get 15 years at 5 days x2 and 5 years at 4 days x 2
