    Holy thread revival...

Just got notice that my contract is up for renewal and the electricity price is going up by 3ppkwh, hoping this is a mistake.

    Is that Octopus Go ?
I was under the impression Go isn't a fixed term tariff ??
We had an email as our Gas contract ends next month so I queried it and they confirmed it's just the gas that's changing and we'll stay on Go at the current rates.

Octopus Go & Go Faster p/kWh are still 14.02p/kWh for our region during the "standard" period and either 4.5, 5 or 5.5p/kWh during the "off-peak" periods.

Email was somewhat confusing to be honest.
It listed 3 tarrifs, none were go.
    So I've queried it myself.

Gas looks to be increasing too from 2.67 to 2.87

Yeah we were on 2.39 for gas and their best price now seems around 2.8p.
