    Quick note: In my research, I noted that you can claim for days you took off work waiting for delivery if it was not delivered the first time, under common law. I wonder whether this may fall under the same umbrella?

    Yup. Ordered directly from them at mi . Com , via the UK site. So they are based in France.

    You are bound by the terms and conditions you agreed to so see what they say. A business has less protection than a consumer so it's unlikely you can claim anything.

    If not why not just buy a replacement and return the broken one for a refund.
