Tui sent me a credit note but I booked with Loveholidays

I have just received a credit note from Tui for the cost of my cancelled flight. I booked the entire trip with Loveholidays and have been paying Loveholidays all the instalments. I was under the impression that it would be Loveholidays who would be refunding me? Also on the credit note from Tui it has no options for a cash refund. It will only allow me to rebook another holiday. Anyone help me with this mess? It’s basically impossible to get hold of Loveholidays now and Tui are no better. From what I understand Loveholidays have a legal obligation to refund me in cash. It’s all just a total mess. Thanks.

Another LoveHolidays victim, You buy a package holiday and LH turns it into a linked travel arrangement.TylerDurden36 said:I have just received a credit note from Tui for the cost of my cancelled flight. I've seen a few posters with the same problem and all with LoveHoliday, hopefully this will be picked up soon,
Back to your problem, was your payments make via a back account or a credit/ debit card,
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

So looks like I’m gonna be stuck with the voucher from Tui to put forwards another Tui flight then? I’m assuming I’ll get back a pittance from Loveholidays for the accommodation?Life__Goes__On said:

All the instalments were paid on my device card from my bank account.

The total cost of the holiday was £1477. The flights were £900 but Loveholidays sent me an email last week to say they weren’t going to take the final instalment of £600. So by that reckoning they won’t be giving me anything back because of already had it in essence by them not taking the final instalment of £600. So it’s all on Tui. I have sent them a cash refund request on their website. But it says that if I didn’t purchase their AXA travel insurance then I can’t get cash. But I never booked with them in the first place so I wouldn’t have bought their travel insurance. Just have to wait and see what happens with the refund request. Currently taking up to 4 weeks.Life__Goes__On said:0 -
If no joy with TUI hopefully you can get everything you paid back via your card.
