Flight refunds

Hey there, hope all safe and well. I was due to fly to NZ via Shanghai on 15th February this year, Virgin stopped flying to China early February and my flights were cancelled. I booked via a company called Travel up, who at the time 4th February, confirmed I would receive my refund 8 weeks later. I have not had the refund and they have switched off their telephones and do not respond to emails, how do I get my money back? I don't know where else to ask. Many thanks in advance. Jenny

Owing to Coronavirus reasons we decided to change our flight booked with Easyjet from October 2020 to May 2021. The new flight for May 2021 if bought as new would have been approx £250 cheaper than what I paid for the October 2020 flight. I note Easyjets terms and conditions state that if there is an increase in the new changed flight we would be charged but if its lower there will be no refund due. As there is an approx £250 difference here do you think that is fair? especially in these times.0

You may not think it fair, but it's perfectly legal if those are the T&C's you accepted when booking. It's bound to be cheaper if you book a year ahead, especially with the collapse in demand that coronavirus has brought.
You could have waited until much nearer the departure date before changing your booking, to see if the flights were cancelled. No free lunch, and no free laptop
