Samsung LE26R88BD 26" HD Ready Digital LCD TV
today, i went on the hunt for a new tv. i took my time and finally decided on the above.
before i purchased it, i went home and read some reviews. seems like a very good tv, with not many faults (main fault being is that you cant actually switch the tv off fully, only if you do it my the mains).
so back off to dixon's i went and spoke to the advisor's. i was hoping to get this on a 6-month intreset free plan. seems so much better to do that instead of spending half off my pay at once! the in-store price is £499, same as pc world (because they are dsg, so all prices are the same, i believe.....)
unfortunately, i failed the credit check. so I went home to see anywhere else i could do it. turns out the croydons debenhams have it for £559!
no way! so back home, again! then I came across the best thing! im surprised they can get away with it!
dixons are selling the tv for £419.98, but using the wonderful code i found here it brings it down to just £398.98! im amazed, that by going online its £100 cheaper! and free delivery!
the main thing im trying to find out if anyone nows where i can get this for cheaper....if it can be that its! if you did not now dixons do a price match so if it can be found for cheaper they will price match.....
http://www.dixons.co.uk/dixons-price-match/
so if you want a new tv and want to save £100, get this!
also, 32'' avaible from same site for £446.49

We have two Samsung tv's on 26" its 2 years old and a 40" R88 and both dont have on/off switches. The picture is great on both tvs even on Freeview. The 40" Samsung seems to have some auto switch on it now as I hear a click after about 10 minutes to save power theres some energy power option in the tv settings too.
I got the 40" from Dixons with discount code and £16 cashback for just under £600 plus cashback - £584 even got the cashback now and only had tv for about 5-6 weeks at most0
