Barclaycard PPI timescales

Options
Hi all, I appreciate Covid is having an impact on most things and I am sure PPI is one of them, I submitted a claim in respect of my late sisters estate PPI bro credit card in early August 2019, the Barclaycard tract scheme suggests that things have not moved on from Acknowledging the application since 9 August, almost 10 months and they haven't even started to investigate it yet.....anyone else have a similarly timed complaint that can give me an idea of timescale? Its the only remaining estate action for me as executor and its really frustrating not to be able to plan for when things can be concluded.

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

That is not unexpected considering the massive surge at the deadline.   The FOS was indicating that things would be very slow until Spring and that was before CV when most complaint departments either closed or went to limited staffing

..anyone else have a similarly timed complaint that can give me an idea of timescale?
Could end up getting into 2021.

I did as I had to call to change address and they really couldn't tell me anything, but the advisor said "I can see you submitted everything ages ago"
