Mytrip.com travel refund issues

Even though the flight has been cancelled I'm only being offered a travel voucher.
Am I entitled to a full cash refund? The reason I was going abroad has now been cancelled, and I don't quite understand how they can not offer a cash refund if they're the ones who cancelled the flight.
What are the cons if I do a chargeback on my CC which is what I paid with?

So even though the airline cancelled my flight and not myself I am not entitled to a refund?
I will not want to move dates as I won't be going abroad now. So I basically have to forget about it?

Depends what your view on a "con" is
If it's to get payment as quick as you can, then I can't see a con,  but it might put Mytrip.com in financial trouble if everyone did this.

At the end of the day I have to look after myself. This situation is annoying but the money back can help.
What happens if I do a charge back on my card? Credit score affected? Legal stuff?

Nothing on your credit file, not sure what legal stuff you want to know about

I done a charge back with my bank for my debit card payment.  I got the money back ok, they where a nightmare to deal with, phones are off the hook and always said on emails to go to the flight company even though they are the travel agents.
