Hi,
I heard that admiral and lv were offering car insurance refunds during the covid-19 pandemic while vehicles are sat dormant, just wondering if anyone knows of others and what criteria they ask for when contacting them?
Thanks

Why would you want to lose your right to the years no claims?0

I'm talking about partial refunds for vehicles sat dormant during the pandemic, that wouldn't affect your no claims, only enhance it0 -
Admiral are giving £25 back for every car insured with them on 20th April.
The only one that would matter is the one you are insured by through this

Admiral had shocking customer service for a period of time. As much a marketing ploy as a gesture of goodwill.0

Direct Line have an on line form. Fill in your details and estimated weekly mileage during lockdown and they will process it and get back to you,

If you get a refund for say 10 days that will mean your vehicle was uninsured for the 10 days so at the end of the year your insurer may not give you that years no claims as your car hasn't been insured for the full year.rkelly said:swaledale_one said:Why would you want to lose your right to the years no claims?

No it doesn't the £25 refund is to reflect the reduced use/mileage over the year it's not leaving you uninsured for a number of days.swaledale_one said:
