Does anyone knows if it is possible to transfer a child to a different preschool during the term and have the government funding of 30 hours transferred to the new setting?
Our child is under a vulnerable category and we have waited all we can but his preschools still has no plans to reopen since they shut their doors at the end of March.

Yes that should be ok. Have you definitely got a new place already sorted out to transfer to?
You can usually split funding between different settings in normal circumstances anyway and this isn’t much different to that process.
