Top-up to local business grant funds scheme

Is there any update on the Top-up to local business grant funds scheme . I am wondering as I fall out side the government plans. My local council keep saying they have no information yet from the goverment of how it will work. They was told about the scheme over a month ago and have just been told that they will be in touch when they know how the scheme is going to work. Thanks

It is down to each Council to devise their own scheme.
Our local Council scheme launched today and is accepting applications on a first come first served basis until the very limited funding is allocated.

The update was from Leeds Council via their daily update for businesses.
Other West Yorkshre Councils probably won't be far behind in announcing similar schemes.
