@nosferatu1001 7 only addresses the Claimant and says to send it to me and email the court. My confusion stems from my anticipation of each party having the same rules, but it seems that isn't the case. It doesn't appear as if I have to email anyone and I'm anticipating VCS attempting to email me their documents which will likely fail due to size limits. However, there is no instruction for them to email me as I read it.

    There is no confusion here.
    This is usual
they are a represent3 party and so are expected to compile the bundle for the court
they have all your docs already so should not need prompting. However to be SAFE I suggest you
    - prepare a bundle of YOUR docs only , index the works.
    - if you don't get served a copy by the c, of the COMPLETE bundle, by the deadline then send YOUR to the court and claim ant, explaining the claimant failed.

They are instructed to serve the bundle on you.  If email fails they have to use post.

    What exactly don't you understand?

Para 6 states that you must send copies of your witness statements and documents to the court and the Claimant no later than 4pm on 26 May 2021.

    OK so far?

Para 7 tells the Claimant what he must do with that stuff.

The rules of service require a party to check in advance the size of permitted email attachments, before clicking send. If they fail to, then they risk not serving (see Barton v Wright Hassall).

If the attachment is big, a Dropbox or similar is fine, so long as everyone agrees the process and how to access it.

Quite common for the ppc to prepare the bundle, but for goodness sake liaise to make sure that everything you want in it, is in it. If not, you'll have to prepare your own.

Visiting again after a long absence to help a friend with a potential PCN and realised I never concluded this thread.

VCS discontinued the claim shortly before the hearing was due. No idea why and I never applied for costs or anything.

    Very good news!

ANOTHER VCS ONE BITES THE DUST!

    Well done for winning.  And...

    ...please don't leave us yet!

We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.

It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1

And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79310609/#Comment_79310609

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens later this year, once the new Ministers are fully appraised.

We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers! You have a personal story to tell about the culture of getting a DRA to add a pointless £70 for their own profit, to be let loose to intimidate people.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Because they knew they were going to lose, again.

    Well done!
