Van BIK Tax

I’m soon to be getting a company vehicle from my employer. I’m looking to get a VW Transporter Kombi (6 seater). Would this be classed as a van and BIK taxed as such or would it fall under the car category and therefore be taxed much more for BIK tax?
Anyone had experience with this before?

I believe it classed as a car, so the BIK rate will be quite high as they are not cheap and the CO2 level is also high under the new WLTP tests
