I've never tried cream blush myself. I always think that it might not sit well and might emphasise any pores I have.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

After the big push at the beginning of the month, it's all gone quiet apart from I have removed the stopper from a Bare Minerals lip gloss which was in my advent calendar. I've also repressed the MAC Creative Copper from my Princess Jasmine pallette and have been scraping hard pan from my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Dim Light powder.

VALM - I had a look at some reviews of the Bobbi Brown cream blush to see what other people said and one of the reviews recommended putting a stripe of it under the cheekbone the way you would with cream contour and then blend upwards, I hadn't actually got rid of the blush by this time so I tried that and used a stippling brush to blend it upwards and I can honestly say it looks pretty nice, it gives a flush without the overly greasy effect I was finding by applying to my actual cheekbones. I will keep giving it a go and see how I feel.I have finished my last bottle of handwash for the kitchen and have moved onto bars of soap (already done this in the bathroom), I didn't have a soap dish for the kitchen so I have bought a gorgeous handmade and handpainted one on Etsy, it arrived yesterday and I am besotted with it.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

London_baby - The Superdrug one is the Superdrug Whitening Tape. It's not similar to the Satin Tape, the Superdrug one is very smooth and thinner. It's a bit cheaper than the Satin Tape though. Only bought it because it was 3 for 2 on both of them. I like it but I much prefer the Satin Tape5

My beauticians have announced they are reopening end of August. I use them for gelish nails ( Go through phases of having it) and also get my eyebrows microbladed once every 18 months. They’ve hiked their prices right up. Wonder what the future will be for the beauty industry as I’m sure many people won’t rush back now they’ve maybe worked out how to do things themselves and won’t want to pay inflated prices. Interesting times ahead7

A Lacura mini haul from Aldi:
1 x Rose skincare tonic
2 x Retinol skincare tonic
2 x Glycolic skincare tonic
I think I've been slightly influenced by all the Youtube skin care videos that I've been binge watching. Don't think I'll need any more products for the rest of the year except for essentials. Hopefully, will just be reporting outs for the rest of the year.6 -
Seduced by an original source apple and melon shower gel when shopping in Tesco. One in at a £17

I have a cheeky in - literally.thebalm Down Boy Blush - I have one of these on the go but it seems to have been discontinued, I managed to get hold of one and am happy to keep it until needed, I love how this looks and I always get compliments on how beautiful my skin is when I wear it, it seems to have a glow but no shimmer or glitter. You get a huge 9.9g of product too so good value.I'm still using the Bobbi Brown cream blush and still liking it so I will stick with that for the summer months I think.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
