More than one bbls per bank account?

Anyone know whether you can apply for more than one bbls per bank account?
I have a business account with Metro and Santander as well as HSBC.
I have applied and got one via Santander, but I have a couple more companies that I can apply for. Metro seem to be dragging their heels, so can I apply via another account twice?
I can't see any rules to prevent it, but wondered if anyone knew for sure?
Thanks

It's one BBL per business, but where the same owner owns more than one limited company, there is only supposed to be one BBL between the companies, unless they have no business connection with each other.0

Sure, not part of a group.
The question is whether two can be paid into one business bank account?0 -
I doubt it as it would be incredibly poor practice, as well as against the bank's terms and conditions to operate multiple businesses through one bank account. The bank would regard it a breach of terms and conditions, the government may well regard it as fraud.GentleGiant2 said:Sure, not part of a group.

They don't have to be part of a group to be restricted to one BBL. See scenario D https://www.santander.co.uk/assets/s3fs-public/documents/bbls_business_group_guidance_sheet_0.pdfGentleGiant2 said:Sure, not part of a group.

As said above, two limited companies should never share a bank account.0 -
It is one BBLS per business, or business group.
If the multiple businesses share a single bank account, that would seem to be sufficient to demonstrate that the businesses are linked and form a group.0 -
The companies do not share the bank account.
It would simply be used as vehicle to receive the payment. My normal bank isn't part of it yet.
I think I am better setting up feeder accounts with HSBC.
Thanks anyway.0 -
What are your different companies?
Are they all Ltd Co. or are any of them sole trader or partnership?
What are the trading activities?
How big are each of the companies?
When did they all start?0
