    Morning,

5/20 for me today please. This has been really useful to join this challenge.

I had one day that I had to pay the window cleaner (rarely visits and upstairs windows). But I hadn’t budgeted for this. The other day I had a subscription charge for £7.99 that I had forgotten about. I do use it but have paused it as I have a few credits to use up.

Really pleased with progress. I also seem to get this lull in the middle of the month awaiting for my next pay day to reduce down my debt again.

Cathybird, Thanks again for running this. I’m sure there’s also a lot of other people who really benefit from this challenge.

Well done bloomfelt, jammy dodger, Aspiration and Doris imageimageimage and thanks for the kind words, Aspiration, so pleased you find it helpful, I've always found counting NDSs induces a quite different mindset round spending, plus delays spending, which is in itself a good thing, since quite often the urge to get something simply goes away! image

yesterday  was another NSD not  venturing  far  today  either  weather  wet  n  wild  out  there so  I'm  gonna  be  trying my  hand  at  sourdough  crackers and a  loaf and maybe  cook a  rice pudding  for  later .  so  I'll  declare for  today  too taking  me  to 7/20   yaay  a  whole  week  and  no  spends :)  have  a  great  day
Rice pudding, yum! I have a number of friends who have posted online that they are making rice pudding interestingly and I did read that people are turning more to traditional comfort foods during this crisis. Plus it's cheap and delicious. I know I ordered a stack of chocolate in the early days of lockdown, think people must need treats to get through it!

Hi Cathybird I'm on 4/15 now please :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Buffer fund 0/100
    Debt Free (again) 25/072025
  • Spent money on Friday/Saturday, although only a total of £10.81, needed a few bits at the supermarket and paid for an online quiz with friends. No spends today though as more than likely staying at home all day - 3/20
